These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of degreeshows.uk (the “Site”), a directory and archive of UK design degree shows operated by Everyday Creatives through Mesh Training Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), in partnership between the two organisations. Mesh Training Ltd is the legal entity behind the Site; Everyday Creatives handle day-to-day operation and curation. By creating an account, submitting content or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by Everyday Creatives, our trusted partner, through Mesh Training Ltd. Mesh Training Ltd is the legal entity and contracting party; Everyday Creatives handle day-to-day operation, curation and editorial.
2. Eligibility
You must be aged 18 or over to create an account or submit content. The Site is not intended for children under 13.
To submit a project, you must be a current student, recent graduate, or course leader at a UK higher-education institution and have the necessary rights to share the work you upload.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your contact details up to date.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms, post inaccurate information, or engage in abusive or fraudulent behaviour.
4. User content
“User Content” means anything you upload or submit to the Site, including project images, descriptions, biographies, links, show dates and edit suggestions.
- Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content.
- Licence to us: By submitting User Content, you grant Mesh Training Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, resize, and distribute your User Content on the Site and in related promotional materials for degreeshows.uk (for example, social media posts highlighting featured projects). This licence continues for as long as the Site serves as a historical archive.
- Your warranties: You confirm that your User Content is your own work (or that you have permission from any collaborators), does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and contains no unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or misleading material.
- Moderation: All User Content is reviewed manually by our team before publication. We may decline, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another person or institution, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer or otherwise interfere with the Site or its security;
- Use the Site to send spam, marketing, or unsolicited messages to other users;
- Submit projects you do not have the right to share.
6. Show listings
We compile show listings from public information and submissions. While we make reasonable efforts to keep details accurate, dates, venues and programmes are set by the participating institutions and may change without notice. Please verify with the school before travelling. If you spot an error, use the Suggest an edit form.
7. Intellectual property
The Site’s name, branding, design, code, and curated structure are owned by Mesh Training Ltd or our licensors. University crests, logos and wordmarks belong to their respective institutions and are used to identify shows. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you, save the licence you grant us in section 4.
8. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Removal & account closure
You can ask us to remove your project or close your account by emailing info@meshtraining.co.uk. We aim to action removal requests within 30 days. Some content may persist in backups for a limited period for security and recovery purposes.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of show information, and uninterrupted availability.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites, including official show sites, portfolios, or social media accounts linked from the Site.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Site is limited to GBP 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
12. Changes to the Site or these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, by notifying account holders by email. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may also modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability) will continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
